Estate Agents in Jalon Valley take great joy in helping you to make the process as uncomplicated as possible whilst ensuring that you do things properly and legally.

There are many Estate Agents to choose from in the Marina Alta Area of the Costa Blanca. Most are located in the resort towns of Denia, Javea, Moraira, Benisa and Calpe.

There are great Estate Agents in Ondara based 10 km inland that cover the Orba Valley and Jalon valley as well as the coastal areas including Els Poblets and Oliva Playa. Other inland areas covered include Pego, Monte Pego, Val de Gallinera and Val de Laguar.

There are a wide range of properties for sale in jalon including apartments, villas and fincas. Most inmobiliarias collaborate with several of the best and most trusted agents in the Marina Alta, which offers you a huge choice whilst having a single point of contact and only dealing with one agent. There are no extra charges for this service.

So what do you need to start the buying process?

The first thing a newbie to Spain will need is the NIE-Number, which is the Foreigner Identification Number, and the corresponding Certificate. Without that it is simply impossible to get along smoothly. You will need it for buying just about anything with a significant value and most certainly for the property purchase transaction to begin.

The process can be quite intimidating and certainly time consuming but some agents employ the services of an agent that takes care of the waiting around, language issues and the waiting. For a small fee you simply join her in Denia, at the front of the queue at around 9:15 in the morning, present your passport and she will take care of the rest. You will be allocated the NIE number and a week or so later you collect or she will deliver the NIE documentation.

Second you should open a bank account in Spain. There is plenty of choice with most of the international banks being represented here and of course a plethora of Spanish Banks. There are mainly two types of banks. A Banco and a Caja. The Caja is much like a building society in the UK.
